Cannedjam started in february of 2002 when I was a student at James Madison University. The site is pretty much just whatever I want it to be; part journal, part political and social commentary, part humorous dribble. Like my mind, I keep the site quite unorganized and unstructured.

Why cannedjam? Simply put, my initials are JAM and I liked the way it sounded.

Who are you? I live and work in Manhattan for a television news network. I also spend a lot of time just absorbing knowledge like a sponge. In my free time i run this site.

As a human, I am easy to get along with - many would say fun, some may say enigmatic.
